Client: Bank of America :

The Bank of America project was the implementation and integration of CRM package (Siebel eFinance 7.7) and redesign of Global Client Services ‘servicing’ business processes. This project was the second largest initiative in the Bank’s Global Treasury Services history and was the first step in Bank of America’s strategic initiative to enhance the customer service for Global Treasury Management customers, from banking products’ implementation (fulfillment) through service request handling. In addition, this project also includes functionality to support merger process of former Fleet Bank customers as they are converted and integrated into Bank of America. Dr. Zedrick ’s responsibility in this project involved being overall responsible for the delivery of the project and maintaining client relationships. The development methodology for this project was based on Six Sigma processes to ensure the quality of the solution and to comply with Bank QA standards.

Client: JP Morgan Chase :

The Chase project was the conversion of approximately 12 million customers and approximately 9 ½ million debit card accounts from their current Visa brand and Visa DPS transaction-processing platform to the MasterCard brand and the transaction processing system of First Data.  This was the largest conversion performed in the card industry’s history and resulted in a wide variety of modifications on almost every facet of the banks technology and processes. As such, the program also includes considerations associated with application integration, data, network, security and throughput. Dr. Zedrick  was responsible for the system capacity, throughput and preparedness reviews of vendor and internal systems of all the critical applications in the bank involved in the conversion. This included front office channel applications (like Siebel, IVR, VisualBanker & Wamu.com), back-office systems (like Tandem, Hogan & CAMS etc.), partner networks (like STAR, PULSE etc.) and vendor systems (Like FDR systems, Oberthur facilities etc.). Responsibilities included completing a coverage matrix, reviewing possible risks with project leadership and recommending possible testing or systems changes to abate the risks.

Client: Visa USA:   This project was to develop a recommendation on the future strategy for Visa USA regarding best operating model for their payments product. The product is a mission-critical highly strategic application with more than 7 Million dollars revenue flowing through it with even higher revenue growth expected in the short-term. Currently, the product uses a third-party provider to host and provide ongoing support for the system. Due to the highly strategic nature of this product, the business team was interested in understanding their options for migrating the system to an environment that is owned and managed by Visa at local hosting facilities. Dr. Zedrick  led the project to recommend strategy for optimal operating model and deliver formalized decision matrix to help select a migration option on the basis of qualitative analysis, risk perspective and cost. 

Client: Visa International : Led the Global Program Management Office (Global PMO) assessment project for Visa International CIO. The project charter was to review Visa’s current and future needs from a program management functions perspective, review the existing distributed processing program structure, ascertain leading practices in this area, specifically from a global perspective, and have BearingPoint recommend an optimal Program Management structure to meet Visa’s current and future needs. Dr. Zedrick  responsibility included leading the overall project, coordinate with and interview senior client executives including Visa International Global CIO.

Client: Visa International : Led vendor selection and business case development for a multi-year global billing and mediation implementation plan to replace a legacy system for one of the largest credit-card agencies in the world. Evaluated and managed relationships with all the different vendors and provided them guidance and support during the vendor selection process. Provided recommendations and structure to the client senior management to make a decision on the vendor selected. Architecture included the solution for mediation, billing, reporting and delivery to the customers all around the world. 

Government Client: Telmate GTL : Sr. Solution Architect and overall technical manager for a large scale project based on custom Android SDK using java development. Had direct interaction with CTO of client to define the IT strategy and architecture principles. Responsibility included overall architecture and delivery of the system. 

Client: Apple : Successfully delivered Portal Intranet billing system and related customer care portal for a trendsetter start-up company focused on file sharing of songs via the Internet in a peer-to-peer environment. The role included architecting and designing the web portal business object layer to interface with different back-end systems to provide a simple and consistent approach for presentation layer development. 

Client: Solution and New Product Conceptualization with PeopleSoft : Led development of Peoplesoft CRM integrated with Portal Infranet real time billing package. This initiative was conceptualized to launch a new solution in the telecom market and help PeopleSoft develop their Billing module to be launched in the next PeopleSoft release. 

Client: Cisco:  Led the large scale DSL Billing implementation project for an international incumbent based in San Jose Managed and structured the project team in San Jose and delivered the DSL connectivity for Ireland as one of the first commercial firm to provide high-speed Internet access in Ireland. Designed, developed and scoped the implementation of an Internet services billing system (Intranet-Portal Real Time Billing Package).
